SHARE Welfare Society is an independent, registered, non-governmental, and non-profit organization based in Punjab, Pakistan. Established in 2000 by a group of educated and socially committed individuals, the organization began voluntary work to address pressing health, education, and social development challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
To strengthen its impact, SHARE Welfare Society was legally registered in 2021 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 with the Joint Stock Companies and re-registered with the Punjab Charity Commission under the Punjab Charity Act (V of 2018), ensuring full compliance with provincial charity regulations.
Over time, the organization expanded its programs across health, education, livelihoods, resilience, disaster response, and capacity building, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Pakistan, reflecting its commitment to transparency, accountability, and collaborative development locally and internationally.
SHARE envisions communities that are empowered, resilient, and self-sustaining — where every individual has access to education, health, and livelihood opportunities, and contributes to a just and equitable society.
SHARE works to advance basic human rights in Pakistan through integrated, community-driven development programs. We focus on improving access to health, quality education, sustainable livelihoods, peace-building and climate resilience to promote self-reliance and long-term impact. Our approach combines evidence-based planning, local partnerships, and capacity building to address the root causes of poverty and inequality. We collaborate with government institutions, civil society, academic partners, and international donors to ensure transparency, accountability, and measurable results. By empowering communities and strengthening local systems, SHARE creates sustainable development solutions that foster dignity, inclusion, and lasting social change.
SHARE drives meaningful change by strengthening local systems and expanding opportunities for vulnerable communities across Pakistan. Our programs improve access to essential services in education, health, and livelihoods, while promoting inclusive participation of women, youth, and marginalized groups. Through strategic partnerships, evidence-based planning, and accountable program delivery, SHARE enhances community resilience, supports income generation, and fosters social equity. By empowering individuals and families, our work contributes to economic stability, long-term development, and sustainable, dignified futures for communities across Punjab and beyond.
SHARE is committed to the highest standards of financial transparency and responsible governance. We maintain accurate financial records, conduct regular internal reviews, and ensure compliance with national regulations and donor requirements.
